The Momentum Insurance Fund

Momentum has founded the “Momentum Fund” as an initiative to give a bit back to the community. The fund supports people with disabilities; early childhood developments (ECD) and programmes assisting HIV/AIDS victims namely orphans; care-giver and child-headed households.

The funds 92 grants value R7,2 million and support for the early childhood Development received R1,7 million which is 23% of Momentums funding.

The training focuses on community ECD accredited practitioners already involved with providing foundation education for thousands of pre-schoolers in rural and informal settlements. This initiative is also a means of job creation for women interested and passionate about education trained through workshops organized by Momentum.
